Dear friends of darts,

It is with great regret that we have to inform you that the 1. Dart-Sport-Club Bochum 1982 e.V. will no longer be organising the BULL’S German Open.

Unfortunately, we could not agree on a new contract with Wunderland Kalkar for 2024, the changes and cuts after the change of ownership of Wunderland were too big. As we don’t see a venue anywhere near as good for our great tournament, the history of the BULL’S German Open will end with the 32nd edition in April 2023.

We would like to thank all participants, helpers and supporters who have remained loyal to us over the past 34 years and have made the tournament this very special event.

It is not easy for us to say goodbye, but we would like everyone to remember the BULL’S German Open as this unique event as it was able to take place again last year. The sacrifices we would have to make would be too great and would not do justice to the event or all the participants and helpers.

We will keep many wonderful memories forever; each individual will have his or her own special treat.

Thank you for allowing us to write not only German but also international darts history together over many, many years!

Somewhere, sometime we will meet again at a tournament, until then all the best, it was a great time!
