Update 06.01.2022

One or the other will have expected it, but now it is unfortunately a sad truth.

Also this year we are unable to host the BULLS German Open as well as the BULLS German Darts Masters, at least at the usual time. Usually at this time of the year pieces of information has already been published, and even the registration was sometimes already active. In the last few weeks we have been looking for solutions as to how we can organize an event of this size within the framework of legal regulations. However, various factors make the financial risk significantly too great for those primarily involved. Increased costs (control personnel / tests etc.), uncertain numbers of participants, unforeseeable requirements and possibly restrictions on the part of the legislature make it almost impossible for us to hold the tournament at the planned time. The moral aspect – responsibility for the health of each individual – has not yet been taken into account.

In addition to the circumstances described here, the WDF now had to postpone the date for the World Cup, unfortunately to “our” weekend. Ultimately, this overall package of “challenges” made us decide, with a heavy heart, to look for an alternative date. We are already in close contact with the parties involved and our partners (the company BULLS and the Wunderland Kalkar) to explore alternatives. It goes without saying that it is very important to us to finally be able to set the stage for one of the most important Steeldart tournaments in Europe. We very much hope for your understanding and your loyalty, here too. Stay healthy and don’t give up hope, even if it’s definitely difficult – our hearts bleed too.
